Head of Knowledge, Measurement, and Evaluation At Hasoub

We seek a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Knowledge, Measurement, and Evaluation at Hasoub, a leading non-profit organization promoting technology and entrepreneurship within the Arab society. In this role, responsibilities include developing and implementing knowledge management, measurement, and evaluation strategies to ensure programs  are effective and impactful.

50% - 75% position capacity with the option to be expanded to 100%

Work from Hasoub’s offices in Arara


  • Lead Knowledge Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy to capture, organize, and share valuable insights, best practices, and lessons learned from Hasoub's programs and activities.

  • Develop Measurement and Evaluation Frameworks: Establish and oversee Measurement and evaluation practices to measure the impact and outcomes of Hasoub's initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Design and implement data collection methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather relevant data for program evaluation and performance measurement.

  • Impact Assessment: Conduct rigorous impact assessments to determine the long-term effects of Hasoub's programs on Arab society, identifying areas of success and areas for improvement.

  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that communicate evaluation findings, insights, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Leading the organization content development and management, such as the website, newsletter. 

  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with Hasoub team, partners.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest trends, methodologies, and best practices in knowledge management, assessment, and evaluation in the non-profit sector, incorporating them into Hasoub's practices and strategies.


  • Education and Experience: Education in a relevant field such as social sciences, evaluation, or knowledge management. Preferably with a master degree. 

  • Proven Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and implementing evaluation frameworks, data collection methods, and impact assessment methodologies.

  • Research Skills: Strong research skills are essential for gathering information from various sources, both internal and external. This includes the ability to use online databases, academic journals, and other research tools effectively.

  • Data Analysis: Proficient in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, with expertise in data visualization and reporting tools.

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven recommendations.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, build partnerships, and communicate evaluation findings in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, foster a culture of excellence, and drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Tech and Entrepreneurship Basic Knowledge: Familiarity with the tech and entrepreneurship landscape in the Arab society, along with a passion for promoting its growth and impact.

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and appreciation of the cultural context and challenges faced by the Arab society, enabling effective evaluation and knowledge management approaches.
