About Pairs Program
PAIRS Mentorship and Networking Program by Hasoub, the leading ecosystem builder for Arab tech talent, is a community-based initiative that connects Arab students in computer science and tech fields with experienced mentors from the high-tech industry.
Launched in April 2021, PAIRS runs two cohorts annually. With Arab professionals making up only a small percentage of the high-tech workforce despite representing a significant share of the population, PAIRS works to close this gap by breaking down barriers between students and the industry.
Through one-on-one mentorship, students gain direct exposure to the realities of the high-tech world. Learning what to expect, how to plan their careers, and how to make informed decisions.
Our mission is to create a thriving, connected community that shares knowledge, opens opportunities, and empowers the next generation to succeed in the high-tech sector.
Program Structure
Pairs Mentorship & Networking Program is open for registration twice a year and consists of three main stages: registration, interview, and academic records.
The pairing is done based on the mentee's goals and the mentor's expertise. Mentors will meet with their mentees over a 4 months period with 10 hours in total, with a focus on addressing specific jointly-identified challenges facing the mentee to start their career and get involved in the High-Tech sector. In addition, the program includes 4-5 workshops from experts in their field to enrich and give additional knowledge and skills.
